Jeff Rock has over 20 years’ experience as an officer in the US military and over 15+ years as a CEO and Business Owner. He has directly managed P&Ls ranging from $10+M to $600+M with up to 12 direct reports and 5,000 total employees. Jeff spent the last 7 years working overseas for KBR as a Corporate Executive on the $5B LOGCAP III program supporting the US military effort in 7 countries including Iraq and Afghanistan. Jeff has extensive experience in leading organizations for-profit (Manufacturing; Logistics; and Retail) and not-for-profit. Jeff has led organizations during combat as well as profitable and unprofitable times. Jeff understands the issues organizational leaders face on a day-2-day basis; he understands the importance of setting the example and building leader trust in order to navigate the organization in both good and bad times; he understands how to develop high performance teams in order to successfully implement and execute the organization’s strategic plan.

 

Professional Background:

 

• Commanded the 2nd Battalion 27th Infantry, 7th Infantry Division during Operation Just Cause in Panama

• Congressional Program Manager, Army Legislative Liaison – worked with Senate and House Armed Services Committees to provide information on the Army’s portion of the DoD budget.

• Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Hess Manufacturing Company and Hess-Armaclad, Inc. – a leading regional manufacturer of aluminum storm doors, entry doors, and vinyl replacement and new construction windows.

• Program Manager for the Theater Transportation Mission – KBR’s largest single project in Iraq ($600M) to provide logistical support to the US military.

• Program Chief of Staff for KBR’s LOGCAP III ($5B) program to support the US military in 7 countries during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Afghanistan Freedom.

• CEO and founder of NEW ARMY, Inc. – web-based retail Apparel Company where a portion of the proceeds support NFP Veterans’ organizations.

• Founding Member of Jeff Rock Consulting LLC – specializing in Leadership Development Training and Business Coaching.
